The role of community is integral to conservation and the benefits are not limited to the environment. Many different environmental organizations have project sites located in District 33 that focus on Chesapeake Bay Restoration and Sid will continue to support funding streams for their efforts. To ensure climate action, we must work in a common-sense way that puts the environment first, not politics. Sid supports private sector solutions in achieving Bay restoration goals and believes that the private sector will continue to lead in its innovation to natural climate solutions.
Sid has been a supporter of Maryland’s Program Open Space which is a funding source that funds parks, playgrounds, farms, historic sites and critical habitat.
